The University of Alabama in Huntsville Refreshes Campus with New and Replacement Doors
Huntsville, Alabama is home to one of the nation’s premier research universities in The University of Alabama in Huntsville. There are classroom buildings, fraternity houses, maintenance facilities and more on campus, and the university had a variety of needs when it came to openings.
In mid-2020, IOS Huntsville was chosen to supply replacement wood doors, door hardware, and a limited number of automatic openings for buildings on campus. The IOS team sourced and installed hardware and wood doors that remain consistent with the campus’ historic design aesthetic. Automatic openings were installed in larger buildings and fully integrated with the campus’ pre-existing security systems.
