Ozark Church Gets Major Renovation Featuring New Doors, Frames and Hardware
Church auditoriums host people of all ages throughout each week and take an incredible beating. James River Church in Ozark, Missouri is an active, lively congregation with lots of opportunities for community building and recreation for churchgoers. In 2020, they faithfully designated funds toward a major renovation of their auditorium and connected structures.
This project required specialty hinges and closers that are concealed within the doors and frames for maximum security and safety. The complexity of this project and required materials meant that IOS teams in Kansas City and Springfield would have to source and install all necessary components.
IOS collaborated with building partners JE Dunn Construction (general contractor) and Buxton Kubik Dodd Design Collective (architects) to design openings solutions that would meet the building’s use needs and maintain a consistent aesthetic with the rest of the complex.
This is a major renovation project that will result in a fully renovated church with specialty door solutions. Work on the project began in October 2020 and is estimated to complete sometime in 2023. James River Church is a multi-site religious organization in Southwest Missouri. Their campus in Ozark, Missouri is referred to as their “South Campus”.
