Seasoned Executive Brings Proven Track Record of Scaling Multi-Site Operations and Delivering Performance Transformation
Olathe, KS – IOS™, a leading commercial openings systems integrator, today announced the appointment of John Skowronski as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective January 12, 2026. This strategic hire reinforces IOS™’s commitment to operational excellence and positions the company for sustained growth as it continues to execute on its “Building for Growth” initiative.

Skowronski brings extensive experience in scaling operations, integrating acquisitions, and driving performance improvements across complex, multi-site organizations. Most recently, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Acre Security, a global security and access technology company, where he successfully integrated numerous companies into a unified operating platform, establishing standardized processes and positioning the organization for accelerated growth.
Prior to Acre Security, Skowronski served as President of Electronic Security North America at Stanley Black & Decker, where he orchestrated a comprehensive turnaround of a declining business unit. Under his leadership, the division achieved record growth while managing approximately $800 million P&L across more than 70 locations and 2,700 employees.

In his role as COO at IOS™, Skowronski will provide strategic and operational leadership across the organization, working closely with regional executive vice presidents, division managers, and cross-functional teams to drive company-wide financial performance, standardize operational processes, and build the infrastructure necessary to support sustainable growth.
