Client: Convoy of Hope
IOS Location: IOS Springfield, IOS Kansas City-Olathe
Name of Project: Convoy of Hope Campus Relocation
Natural disasters like tornadoes, floods, and hurricanes can put entire communities on their heels as families and businesses struggle to clean, repair, and rebuild. Convoy of Hope is an organization dedicated to helping those communities in their moments of need.
With their fleet of shipping vehicles, Convoy of Hope delivers crucial supplies to communities impacted by a natural disaster. Food (including hot meals), building supplies, cleaning equipment and other goods in high demand for towns and cities on the mend. Thanks to their donors and volunteers, Convoy of Hope is able to partner with local churches, businesses, government agencies, and other nonprofits to do this vital work.
When Convoy of Hope needed to relocate and expand their base of operations, Integrated Openings Solutions was contracted to provide openings for the new facilities. The project’s first building will be a new warehouse, complete with doors, frames, and some access control components, all sourced and installed by IOS teams working together. Phase 2 and 3 of the project will include two new office buildings with openings provided by IOS.
IOS Kansas City-Olathe and IOS Springfield are joining forces with building partners Buxton Kubik Dodd to design and install openings solutions for this warehouse facility and future building projects on the site.
By summer of 2021, Phase 1 of this project will be complete and Convoy of Hope will be better equipped to deliver on their promise of providing “hope in every storm” with a brand new warehouse facility. This is an exciting time for Convoy of Hope, and IOS is proud to be a part of this relocation, by providing openings, hardware, and access control for their new buildings.
