New Hollow Metal Doors for the Bond Bridge in Kansas City, Missouri

Hollow metal doors offer security and utility for public structure maintenance. As a part of a renovation, IOS Kansas City was selected by MODOT to source and install new hollow metal doors on the Bond Bridge. IOS specialists customized the height of these new doors to fit the existing opening.

The Christopher S. Bond Bridge in Kansas City, Missouri carries travelers across the Missouri River on I-29/I-35/US 71. Opened in late 2010, the new cable-stayed bridge replaced the Paseo Bridge which was built back in 1954. Renovations including new steel doors will aid in bridge maintenance and keep the structure looking great.
