Storied Cigar Company Gets Variety of New Doors for Renovation
Tracing its history back to 1895, J.C. Newman Cigar Co. claims to be America’s oldest family-owned premium cigar maker. The J.C. Newman Cigar Company factory is located in historic Ybor City, Tampa, Florida. In addition to a factory, the building houses rooms for public events as well as the company’s corporate offices.
In the summer of 2022, the company began an office renovation project that would include new doors and door frames. IOS Tampa supplied custom hollow metal frames and hardware, as well as custom stile and rail wood doors and hardware. New doors had to serve the overall goals of the renovation, including the goal of maintaining a classic, historical architectural aesthetic.
