Enlisted Personnel Housing – Access Control

Completed by B.A. Hoft, Inc. (prior to its acquisition by Integrated Openings Solutions), this project delivered secure and reliable access solutions for the new P707 Enlisted Personnel Housing at Camp Lejeune. Working under general contractor Archer-Western Federal, the team provided a comprehensive package of metal doors, metal frames, STC-rated doors, finished hardware, and a card lock entry system.

Client: Archer-Western Federal
Location: Camp Lejeune
Completion Date: December, 2024

A critical component of the project was ensuring seamless integration of STC doors with electronic card access systems — a challenge that required both technical expertise and precision coordination. The result was a fully integrated solution that enhanced security, maintained sound control, and supported the Navy’s operational standards for enlisted housing.

Why Integration Mattered

On a project of this scale, coordinating multiple elements — from physical openings to electronic security systems — was essential to avoid scope gaps and ensure long-term performance. By handling the doors, frames, hardware, and access control as one unified package, the B.A. Hoft team streamlined installation, reduced the risk of conflicts, and delivered a dependable solution that met strict federal requirements.

This project highlights the depth of expertise that B.A. Hoft, Inc. brought to federal and defense work, and today that same commitment to quality and integration continues as part of the IOS family of companies.
