Cape Girardeau Transforms Courthouse into New City Hall with Help from IOS
In May 2020, construction began on a project to build a new City Hall for Cape Girardeau, Missouri. The project would transform the historic Common Pleas Courthouse into Cape’s new City Hall. New construction and renovation of existing buildings were needed to get this done.
Working with partners Cape Paint & Glass, IOS was tasked with supplying 47 doors for the project. Doors sourced for the project were chosen to match historic architectural features, including six-panel doors that were completely custom for the project. The project also included fire-rated doors for new and existing buildings.
IOS completed its contribution to the project in November 2021. The new City Hall merges the City’s past with its exciting future. IOS is proud to have contributed to this transformative project for the City of Cape Girardeau.
