Accredited Charter School Serves a Fast-Growing Community in Tampa
Established in 1992 and located in Terrace, Florida, the American Youth Academy serves roughly 720 students from pre-K to 12th grade. This charter school has full accreditation from the Florida Council of Independent Schools and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvements.
In 2022, the school launched an expansion program that included a new gymnasium and multipurpose hall that would be able to accommodate 1,200 students. IOS Tampa worked with NDRS Construction to detail and supply over 100 doors, frames, and hardware for the project.
The new multipurpose hall is a secure and accessible building that will host a wide variety of sports and events. American Youth Academy is prepared to grow its enrollment thanks to the new Gymnasium and doors from IOS.
