Historic Alabama University Adds Exciting New Event Center
Alabama A&M (Agricultural & Mechanical) University has provided crucial educational opportunities since 1875, and is a community fixture in Huntsville, Alabama. On November 19th, 2020, the University broke ground on their new Event Center, a facility that will host speaking engagements, sporting events, performance arts, food vendors, and other amenities.
The IOS team in Huntsville was tasked with providing a wide variety of services for this building project. Coordinating with construction partner MJ Harris, IOS detailed wood doors, hollow metal doors & frames, door hardware, bathroom accessories, and restroom partitions.
This new construction project demanded thoughtful openings solutions for interior and exterior doors that will allow the university to monitor traffic and grant patrons access into and within the building.
IOS is proud to have played a part in this important new construction project for Alabama A&M. The facility hosts events that enrich students’ educational experience and bring business to the surrounding community.
